Request a review of a public sector body’s decision to disclose your personal or business information in response to someone else’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIPOP) request.

Use Form 8: Request for Review if you’re not happy with the fact that a public sector body has sent you notice that it plans to disclose personal or business information about you in response to someone else’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIPOP) request. Or use the form as an example and write a letter. If you write a letter, you need to include all details outlined on the form.

You have 20 days from the date of the public sector body’s decision to file your request for review with the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
