Who can use this form

Condominium declarants (developers) who want to create a condominium corporation need to use the form to submit the initial by-laws of the proposed condominium corporation.

What you need to do

  1. Complete the form.
  2. Send 4 copies of your completed form with the proposed by-laws by mail or email. Or visit the Registrar of Condominiums.
  3. The Registrar of Condominiums reviews the documents to ensure they comply with the Condominium Act and regulations.
  4. If the condominium corporation is accepted for registration by the Registrar of Condominiums you get a copy of the form to give to the new condominium corporation. Copies of the form are sent to the Land Registry (to be recorded) and Registry of Joint Stock Companies. A copy also remains on file with the Registrar of Condominiums.

How long it takes

It should take 2 weeks to complete the process. It can take longer if more information is needed or if your form hasn’t been filled in correctly.

There is no cost to submit the form.
